Hey {first name},
Now that you’ve finished with the seven 15-minute exercises, my hope is that you found time to enjoy yourself and created the opportunity to express your creative freedom.
I have heard from so many of you who always feel like you are doing everything for everyone else and nothing for yourself.
There is a ton in the market right now about watercolouring but they often jump right into painting without teaching the techniques and fundamentals that are key to building a strong foundation. The key to be able to create your own art.
But I don’t see anything that deeply addresses how watercolour painting can be used as a form of meditation, relaxation, and self-care for people like you and I who…
- Have tried different crafts but can never seem to find the one they truly enjoy and are good at.
- Have tried painting but it always feels like i’m not doing it right.
- Really have no clue where to begin when it comes to watercolor painting and want a guide to help me get started.
- Finished all of the seven-15 minute exercises and want more!
I’m thinking about doing a pilot program where I will teach you how I’ve made watercolour painting a form of self-expression and self-care that I didn’t have before I started. Just like you, I was at a place where I felt like I was always on the run, doing things for my family and never for myself. I’m not the mani/pedi type of girl, ya know? I wanted to find something that was for me, by me. And that’s when I got into watercolour painting.
The program would include things like:
- Centering yourself with breath and meditation prior to starting your painting so you are clear-headed.
- Using watercolour as a way to create some ‘me-time’ and still feel productive.
- Learn to tune into what you’re feeling or thinking while in the moment of painting without any judgment of your thoughts and emotions. You are put in a creative flow.
- Gain the confidence to try new things…because when you try one new thing, it’s infectious to keep trying more!
The program is WaterColour Basics: Find Time for Yourself While You Lose Time With Art.
It’s for the people who have dabbled in art but never felt like they actually fell in love with one or that that they were doing it right. It’s for those who are intimidated to put a paintbrush down to a piece of paper because of the overwhelming fear and anxiety of screwing it up.
If you’re siting there saying, “THATS ME!!”, can you hit reply and let me know whats the #1 thing this program would need to include to make it an easy YES for you?
Because this is a pilot program, you’d be getting it at an incredible price (I’m thinking under $200), but only if I can get enough interest!
THANKS!!
Xo,
Aggie
P.S. I’m creating a watercolour pilot program for people who are looking to find time for themselves. If you think this would benefit you, hit REPLY and let me know!

Subject: The feedback that created this course.
Hey {first name},
I’m so excited! I got some replies from people who received my last email that are SO interested in the pilot program I am creating. You gave me some wonderful feedback and inclusions that I will ensure to add to the course so thank you!
So, taking into consideration all of the feedback provided, here’s the course info:
Watercolour course for busy individuals who are having trouble finding time to themselves. Who always feel like they are taking care of the next item on their to-do list. Who always feel tied to a schedule that’s not their own and who are SO not into mani/pedis, because who has time for that shit?
It can be intimidating to start a new craft, or maybe you’ve dabbled in watercolour before, but were always too afraid to mess up the paper.
This watercolour course will allow you to find the time to take care of yourself while feeling productive and creating artwork while enjoying the process and relieving some anxiety both in your life everyday.
Here’s what’s included:
- Six weeks of modules to take you from someone who has never picked up a brush before to the artist who understands watercolour theory, various strokes, and techniques.
- templates hand-crafted by Aggie as a supplement for your new art practice.
- The exact paints, tools, and paper I use that don’t cost an arm and a leg but will also make it easy to get started.
- Watercolour theory and what the hell that means and why you have to learn it to really get a great foundation to understand how to paint.
- Breaking down techniques that we covered in the watercolour mini workshop but more indepth.
AND based on your feedback, here are some of the bonuses I added:
- A facebook group for members only where it is a safe-space to ask questions, and share your artwork and get positive feedback from me and like-minded people ($160 value)
- Facebook Live Question and Answer session with me once a week for the six weeks of the course ($570 value)
- 5 practice templates ($45 value)
- Downloadable e-booklet ($25 value)
- Access for the lifetime of the course, for as long as I continue to run it, and guaranteed access for AT LEAST one year after enrollment.
Since I’m going live each week,we can gather together as a group, a community. We will start on April 12.
Now if this feels like YOU, then you can get it for the early-bird price of $197 but that price is only good until February 15! After that, the price will increase to $247. So click here to buy it at the early-bird price.

Subject: Here’s to ‘adulting’.
Hey {first name},
It’s the beginning of 2017 and as I was organizing my daughter’s art supplies, I came across my old watercolour kit and brushes.
Immediately, I had stage fright. I made so many excuses. One of which being “I’ve forgotten how to paint, let alone use the ever intimidating watercolours – the medium that had a mind of its own.”
I made myself sit and actually paint.
I didn’t end up with a masterpiece.
Shit, I don’tdont even remember what I painted.
But that was the beginning of carving out time for me.
Time to NOT do the dishes.
Not fold laundry.
NOT scroll social media in a mind-fog.
That’s what I want for you.
I don’t want you to think you have to end up with a masterpiece. I don’tdont even want you to feel like you have to show anyone that you painted, I mean, do you tell people how many underwear you folded today? Hahaha, i love that
Just try something for you, for yourself.
Even if you think you’re not good at it, keep practicing. Would you want someone you loved to stop doing something they found enjoyable just because they said they weren’t good at it. We are our own worst critics.
So if you are ready to start doing activities for you that bring YOU joy, click here to the start the Watercolour for Beginners course.
MUCH BETTER!!!
I used to find it to be such a challenge making time and space to be creative and make art. Even doodling seemed like a chore.
Sure, I graduated with a Fine Arts Degree. I studied painting, photography and art history. But I ended up working in a corporate environment after university, and I was always busy running around doing working-girl stuff – attending all the meetings that could have been sent as an email, marketing, networking, conferencing – all the things, and it was exhausting.
When I had some down time, I always made excuses that I had a lot of adult things I needed to do: the dishes needed to be taken out of the dishwasher, the laundry has been piling up for a week, and I have no more clean underwear left. And then… I became a mama.
Whatever time I thought I didn’t have, disappeared even faster than I can change my baby’s diaper. I loved being a mama to my sweet girl, but there were distinct times when I felt as though I was left with nothing for myself because I gave my all to motherhood, and wifehood, and everybody else.
I forgot what things made me happy, how to make myself feel like me, and just do even the simplest things that would give me joy.
One day, as I was organizing my daughter’s art supplies, I came across my old watercolour kit and brushes. While I’d want you to think that the heavens parted and a choir of angels started singing as a sign for me to start painting right there and then, well… that wasn’t the case.
I immediately had ‘stage fright’. Oh girl, I had so many excuses. One being, “I’ve forgotten how to paint, let alone, use the ever intimidating watercolours – the medium that had a mind of its own”.
I did set it on my desk whereI can see it right away and I surprisingly set aside time to use them, nay, made myself sit and actually paint. I didn’t end up with a masterpiece after 20 minutes, but that was the start of me carving out time to NOT do the dishes, fold laundry or mind-numbingly scroll on social media.
That was MY time — to do nothing but be creative and paint.
that was at the beginning of 2017, and I haven’t stopped painting regularly since. and you know what?
It’s done wonders for my self-esteem and mental health. I’m a much better mama, wife, friend and entrepreneur because I’ve made time for myself, not just a necessity, but also a priority. If I could do this, I know you can, too. I’ve seen what gets results—and I’d love to share it with you.

Subject: Have faith in your journey.
As you went through the mini-workshop, what doubts were surfacing for you?
What emotions were coursing through your brain?
Did you have to re-try an exercise to make it feel like you got the hang of it better the second time around?
Perhaps you were thinking “I’m not crafty, even my 10 year old says I’m terrible.” Girl, put those thoughts aside. You can do what you set your mind to. And the beliefs that you have that you are limiting yourself with, are just there to keep you safe. This watercolor for beginners course is just that – for beginners. you’re perfect to start at your level – just start. Just imagine how powerful it will be for your child to see you doing something you are not good at, persisting, and trying harder to improve.
Or maybe, you think “i don’t have time for another hobby”.
This course is not meant to be a “hobby”. It’s meant to be a habit.
Making it a habit to spend time on yourself, for yourself. This is not just a course on watercolour. This is a course on mindfulness, being present, and being able to present the best version of yourself to you and your family.
A course on the computer? I have no clue what I’m doing when it comes to technology.
We’ve all had to learn and adapt to technology in the past year. All you have to do to take this course is pretty play. + if you love print-outs and tangible booklets, I’ve included one as a bonus in the end.
I can’t afford a $197 course.
There is a payment plan option for this course which is 2 payments for $99. There’s a 21 day refund policy if you are truly unhappy with the course. You already have a taste of what it will be like to work with me based on the workshop that we just went through AND if you’re reading this email, then you obviously loved it (haha). This is not just a course to learn how to watercolour. This is an investment on yourself.
I’d love to have you with me in the course.
I want to see your growth, mentally, and spiritually through the art of watercolor painting.
Click here to buy the course for the early bird pricing of $197 (in full or 2 payments of $99). Take a moment to think about it – I’m not gonna hurry you to BUY NOW, i’m not like that. But, I will promise you that the price won’t stay this low for long.

Hey {first name},
Committing time and energy to yourself.
Sounds like an idea from another planet.
There’s no way with my kids doing virtual learning, having to work from home, and still take care of the house, am I going to find time to do something for myself. When I do, I just want to sit on the couch.
But Watercolour for Beginners is not just about making art. It’s not just about learning a new creative skill. It’s about learning more about yourself.
It’s about changing your mindset, establishing new habits, and eradicating old beliefs.
Here’s what Amilia had to say about the course:
{include video testimonial}
I actually had a meaningful breakthrough. As I was painting, I realized I was using too much water. I was using too much water to try and extend the life of my paint, out of fear that I would run out of paint. Then I realized how ridiculous that was since I haven’t had to buy new paints since dabbling in watercolour painting over a year ago. Then, it hit me like a brick wall – I live in a scarcity mindset. Always afraid of using too much of something for fear of running out of it or not having enough. I never had a breakthrough like this with any of the other watercolour tutorials I have done. Aggie is teaching us the techniques to be able to paint freely and let go. Not follow a specific routing to have a specific outcome. It’s so freeing. Thank you so much for putting this together.
I have already learned a lot from this exercise. I have realized that I have too much liquid on my brush for the first attempt. I want to do this a second time before I post my results.
It’s been far too long since I picked up a brush. Thank you for this opportunity to be re-inspired!
Can’t wait to learn more! I have very basic watercolour knowledge and just recently picked them up after years of thinking it was too hard to try!
